Unidentified wildflower near Badger Creek

Post by Aimless » March 29th, 2015, 11:19 am

I saw this wildflower while hiking along Badger Creek, out in the transition zone from the Cascades to the Columbia plateau, at approximately 2700 feet of elevation. The whole flower was about 4.5 inches tall and the stalk was fairly thick. Any ideas?

Thank you. I like to know names, even if the flower doesn't care what I call it.
