Funny Trail Signs....

Post by markesc » November 9th, 2010, 7:20 am

I've been hiking a number of years; I have to say this was the best I've spotted!

Taken in Durango, Co last Fall:

In a state park near Spokane:

Yes Please!

And up above Burnt Lake, a little post-recession snark:

Believe it or not, I barely ever ride a mountain bike.

If you've been down the Opal Creek Trail to Jawbone Flats you've seen the itty bitty forest just outside of the town..

I liked this one close to Cresent City and the Redwoods State Parks:

Some people are really fit at eighty; thankfully I still have many years to get into shape…

Two faves from the PCT.

Read this one, then answer these questions:
1, Which way to Trail 1448?
2, How far to Trail 1448?
3, What's the name of Trail 1448?

Bonus question: Which way to the PCT?

And this one is both odd and mean. Yes, there's a Pinhead Butte, and yes, there's an 8-mile stretch of PCT with no water. We just don't need to be taunted by the sign.
