Scariest experience?

Post by DouggieFir » December 31st, 2016, 3:59 pm

Hiked up to high bridge on eagle creek couple days ago for a shot i've been wanting to get for a while now, Turns out, it wasn't so easy.
Having a tripod leaning against the railing and the extender just angled over the side of the railing, With your camera hanging right over the edge! What was the scariest photo you took? Happy New Year by the way!

I haven't released this photo.. but I'm going to say it was this. Though I was more worried about thousands of dollars of equipment being 4" off the water.

My first time shooting Spirit Falls was alone.. and in the winter with lots of ice. Getting to that ledge and standing on the ice with the river so close was pretty hair raising.

Nice shot, that canyon is so narrow there, makes my stomach turn...

Thank you! Just finished a photo taken of the other side. Amazing how different the lighting is by turning around!
