Madrone Wall & TKO

Post by Shoofly » December 6th, 2016, 7:43 pm

The Portland Tribune published a great article on the Madrone Wall project. You can read it here:

http://portlandtribune.com/cr/24-news/3 ... all-access

From the article:

"During the work parties, 121 volunteers from all over the metro area put in about 750 hours, breaking up rocks weighing over 600 pounds, and using them to build 268 rock steps to get hikers over the steepest areas on the trails."

Many thanks to TKO trail crew leaders Elaine Keavney and Curtis Smith for all their hard work at the Madrone Wall and for the many volunteers who contributed their time and energy to make this project a success!
