Overveiw:

Join us to help maintain this close to Portland trail network while learning basic trail tending techniques. We will be returning to the Audubon Society of Portland to help maintain their trails. We hope to get to some more advanced trail restoration work this time.

Project description:
Improve a section of trail that is difficult to walk on by rerouting it.

Hiking information:
Work will be close to the Audubon Society building with a short hike to the work site.

What to expect:
We will be working on digging out a new trail section. Some of the crew may be working on tread issues on Founders Trail.

What to bring:

Water bottle
Snacks
Lunch
Gloves if you have them (loaner gloves available)
What to wear:

Boots (tennis shoes are not recommended)
Long sleeved shirts recommended
Rain gear as appropriate for the weather
Eye protection is recommended (eye glasses, safety glasses, etc.) for some tasks
TKO will supply hard hats and safety glasses
