Volunteer with TKO! Latourell Falls, Columbia Gorge

Post by Shoofly » March 23rd, 2017, 5:01 am

The winter has taken its toll at Latourell Falls, and there are several trees down across the trail along with numerous large branches that need to be sawed and removed. There is also quite a bit of loose material (branches, etc.) on the tread surface throughout the length of the trail. Volunteer with TKO to spend the day logging, sawing and doing a general cleanup of the trail.

No trail work experience is necessary. You will be volunteering with experienced crew leaders to improve the tread surface on this popular trail. You should be prepared to hike on terrain that is uneven and sometimes steep while carrying your day pack and work tools.
