I am starting to lead hikes this spring and summer with the Chemeketans and I wanted to announce the first one here since there might be interest. All Chemeketans hikes are open to anyone, however, I set up this schedule of hikes geared toward families with elementary-age children. The hikes will be moderately paced, relatively short, and generally not too far of a drive from Salem. Post-hike, we'll plan on stopping at local ice cream vendors for treats. The first hike announcement is below.
