Hi all - I've relied on the field guide for years, but haven't contributed. Thank you to everyone who has provided such great trail info over the last decade (and boo to me!) Finally joining and hope to add to the community with trail reports and updates.
[Edit - I just read the instructions for introduction posts, so here is some more info]
My husband & I are from the Portland area, we've been hiking for many years. We are at a steady state of easy/moderate ability/effort. Our general range is 6-9 miles and <2000 ft. We mainly hike the Mt. Hood trails, but go into SW Washington occasionally. Of course, on vacations we hike much more of the country.
Hiking with us is our border collie who wishes we would go at least 20 miles a day.

Welcome!
The coloring on your border collie is very cool.
