We started at the Pacific Crest trail where it crosses Lolo Pass. There was just a few snow patches on the trail. You can still easily drive to the Top spur trail head if you like, although I hope that changes soon

I have never been to this area but your photos makes me want to check it out. Beautiful! My photos don't do the area justice. I really think it is one of the most beautiful places in the pacific northwest. We want to go back next year and spend more time there. There are over 20 lakes in the area!
