Whetstone-Whetstone Mountain Trail West Junction

From Oregon Hikers Field Guide

Tarn below the junction (bobcat)

The Mt. Hood National Forest's Whetstone Trail #546 and the Willamette National Forest's Whetstone Mountain Trail #3369 share the ridge between the two jurisdictions for about 0.4 miles along the Whetstone Ridge (This is also the boundary between the Bull of the Woods and Opal Creek Wildernesses). Going west from this junction along Trail #3369 takes you to Whetstone Mountain in about a mile.
