Hikes starting here

Driving Directions

Drive Highway 26 east through Sandy. From the last traffic light in Sandy, it’s 17.0 miles to the junction with E. Lolo Pass Road in Zigzag.

Turn left here and drive 0.3 miles, crossing the Zigzag River, and make a right turn onto E. Mountain Drive. This is a narrow gravel road with lots of potholes.

After 0.2 miles, keep straight at a junction.

Drive 0.5 more miles to a pullout on the right just before a line of boulders blocking the road.
