About Me

I have casually enjoyed hiking and backpacking for a lot of my life, but only recently have I become truly addicted. I am still learning so many new things, and I am amazed by what our nearby wilderness has to offer every time I go out. We truly are lucky people to live where we do.

Portlandhikers.com has had a huge effect on my enjoyment of the outdoors. It started taking off right about the time I started getting more into hiking. I found that the trip reports section of the forums was the best place online for me to learn about the area. It is a great community, and the people here have helped me out with lots of advice and ideas.

To Do

  • Work on submission forms
  • Finish linking hike finder to wiki
  • Look for other tasks the bot can help with
  • More local Portland hikes
