Driving Directions

From the north in Bend:

Drive Highway 97 south into Bend and take Exit 139 for Reed Market Road and the Old Mill District.

After exiting, turn right onto Reed Market Road and drive 1.4 miles (You will go stright through two roundabouts, cross the Deschutes on the Bill Healy Bridge, and keep straight at a third roundabout).

At a fourth roundabout, keep straight on Washington Drive, and proceed 1.6 miles (You’ll go straight at the roundabout junctionn with Simpson Avenue).

Reach the roundabout junction with Skyliners Road and go left. Drive 2.5 miles and turn right on a gravel road.

In 0.1 miles, make a sharp left onto potholed FR 4606, and descend 1.5 miles, negotiating some wide water bars.

After crossing Tumalo Creek, pull off to the side of the road near the trailhead sign.
