Description

With four different trailheads along this 2.6 mile trail, there are many options for different length hikes. The most popular is the 2.2 mile out and back hike from the Sweet Creek Homestead Trailhead to Sweet Creek Falls.

When the water level is low in late summer and fall, hikers can cross Sweet Creek just below Sweet Creek Falls and continue upstream to the Sweet Creek Wagon Road Trailhead. At the Wagon Road Trailead, cross the bridge to find the trail to Beaver Creek Falls on the opposite side of the creek.

During winter and spring the best way to see the entire trail is to hike 2.2 miles out and back from the Sweet Creek Homestead Trailhead to Sweet Creek Falls. Then drive 1.5 miles farther up Sweet Creek Road to the Sweet Creek Wagon Road Trailhead. From the Wagon Road trailhead, hike downstream 1.7 miles (return) to Sweet Creek Falls. Then you can walk upstream 1.3 miles (return) to Beaver Creek Falls.

Fees, Regulations, etc.
