Sunnyside Road Trailhead

Driving Directions

From the north:

Driving south on I-205, take Exit 14 for Sunnybrook Boulevard and Sunnyside Road.

After exiting, turn left onto Sunnyside Road, and drive 1.2 miles.

Make a right onto SE 117th Avenue for Mt. Talbert Nature Park and Miramonte Pointe Senior Living Community. Where this driveway curves to the right, there are five parking spaces on the right for Mt. Talbert Nature Park.

From the south:

Driving north on I-205, take Exit 14 for Sunnybrook Boulevard and Sunnyside Road.

Turn right onto Sunnybrook Boulevard for Boring, and go 0.7 miles.

Then turn right onto Sunnyside Road, and drive 0.4 miles.

Make a right onto SE 117th Avenue for Mt. Talbert Nature Park and Miramonte Pointe Senior Living Community. Where this driveway curves to the right, there are five parking spaces on the right for Mt. Talbert Nature Park.


Alternatives to Driving

Tri-met Bus #155 runs along Sunnyside Road. There is a stop at SE 117th Avenue. Walk about one block downhill to the trailhead.

Other Notes

  • Dogs not permitted
  • Hikers only; no bicycles
  • Park opens half an hour before sunrise and closes half an hour after sunset
