Summit-Saddle Trail Junction

From Oregon Hikers Field Guide

Harsh paintbrush (Castilleja hispida) near the junction (bobcat)

Description

This junction is on a saddle between Table Rock and the ridge crest heading south towards Rooster Rock. There is a campsite here, but no water. The Summit Trail goes left, heading up to the top of Table Rock. The Saddle Trail goes right, keeping to the ridge for the most part before dropping down into a bowl of old growth silver fir and then rising to the saddle between Rooster Rock and Chicken Rock.
