Seven and a Half Mile Camp (Herman Creek)

From Oregon Hikers Field Guide

The East Fork Herman Creek crossing in the summer, just below Seven and a Half Mile Camp (bobcat)

Description

Seven and a Half Mile Camp is located near where the Herman Creek Trail crosses the East Fork of Herman Creek. If this camp is full, there's another campsite about a quarter mile south at Noble Camp. The East Fork itself is usually a ford except in late summer and early fall.

Some off-trail hikers taken a cross country route up to Woolly Horn Ridge and Tomlike Mountain from here.

There is a Seven and a Half Mile Camp on the Columbia Gorge's Eagle Creek as well.
