Driving Directions

Drive Highway 26 west: from the merge with Highway 217, it’s 15 miles to the junction with Highway 6. Bear left here for Banks and Tillamook.

Continue on Highway 6 for 49.5 miles to reach the Wilson River floodplain.

Here, turn left on Olsen Road for the Trask River Road and the Fairview District, and proceed 0.3 miles to a the four-way junction with Fairview Road.

Keep straight here and continue 1.6 miles before making a left turn on Trask River Road.

Follow this paved road for 6.1 miles along the Trask River before making a right turn into the Peninsula Day-use Area (This is just beyond a turnoff for a boat take-out).
