Driving Directions

Drive Highway 26 east.

From the last traffic light in Sandy, just past the ARCO station, go 31.7 miles through Government Camp and keep left at the junction with Highway 35 for Hood River.

Proceed another 9.4 miles on Highway 26, and turn right onto Skyline Road (FR 42) for Timothy Lake and Olallie Lake.

Drive on Skyline Road for 8.5 miles and pull off to the left at the Pacific Crest Trailhead just after entering the Clackamas Lake Historic Area.

Fees & Regulations

  • Northwest Forest Pass (or America the Beautiful Pass) required
  • Share trails with horses and (except PCT) with mountain bikers
