Pacific Crest-Olallie Butte Trail Junction

From Oregon Hikers Field Guide

The unmarked junction where the Olallie Butte Trail crosses the PCT (bobcat)
Old and new markers on the Pacific Crest Trail (bobcat)

Description

The Pacific Crest Trail #2000 crosses the Olallie Butte Trail #720 here, just south of a powerline corridor. The Olallie Butte Trail has not been officially marked since much of the west slope of Olallie Butte, part of the "McQuinn Strip," was returned to the Confederated Tribes of Warms Springs in 1972. It's about 3 1/2 miles to the top of the Butte from the junction. The PCT runs north onto Warm Springs land for a considerable stretch. Going south, it reaches Olallie Lake in just over two miles.
