Fees and Regulations

  • Between May 24 and Sept. 5, 2022, a Timed Use Permit ($2 fee) will be required for each personal vehicle accessing federal lands adjacent to the Waterfall Corridor between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. just east of the Bridal Veil off-ramp (Exit 28) to Ainsworth State Park (Exit 35).

Driving Directions

From Portland, drive east on I-84 to the Bridal Veil Exit 28. Drive east on the Historic Highway 5.5 miles, passing the Oneonta Gorge and the Oneonta Tunnel. There's a pullout on the right with several parking spaces.

From the east, exit the freeway at the Dodson exit and drive westward on the Historic Highway 2.5 miles to a pullout on the left before the Oneonta Tunnel.
