Northrup Creek Cedar

From Oregon Hikers Field Guide

The Northrup cedar, Northrup Creek (bobcat)

Description

This large old western red-cedar stands in relative isolation on the west bank of Northrup Creek in the Clatsop State Forest. The Northrup Creek Trail runs right by the tree, which is almost eight feet in diameter. One of the tree's large limbs crashed to the ground in 2015.
