Moffett Creek Bridge on Gorge Trail

From Oregon Hikers Field Guide

Gorge Trail bridge over Moffett Creek (Steve Hart)

Description

Moffett Creek has got to hold some kind of record for bridges. It's not a huge stream, but there are 5 bridges crossing the stream in less than a quarter mile. This bridge is the little one. The Gorge Trail #400 drops steeply into a canyon that exhibits a thick layer of the Eagle Creek Formation, crosses the creek on a steel and wood trail bridge and then climbs steeply up the other side.
