Lower Rattlesnake Falls

From Oregon Hikers Field Guide

Description

Lower Rattlesnake Falls is every bit as spectacular as Rattlesnake Falls; it's just that it's a steep scramble down to get to the top of the falls and then an exposed diversion along a cliff bench to get a side view from above Rattlesnake Canyon. Notable wildflowers in the area include Barrett's penstemon and heart-leaf buckwheat.

Take care as you scramble about for your view of the falls. Lower Rattlesnake Falls is best visited before June as the creek begins to run dry in the summer.
