Hikes starting here

Driving Directions

Take Exit 3 off of I-405 for Highway 30W and St. Helens. Stay left and in the middle lane for about one mile until you reach the Nicolai Street traffic light.

Keep straight here on Yeon Avenue, and drive 32.2 miles on Highway 30, passing through St. Helens.

Turn left for Camp Wilkerson County Park on Canaan Road in the community of Deer Island, and drive 6.8 miles to a junction.

Here Canaan Road peels off to the left, so keep stright on Meissner Road and drive another 7.0 miles to the T-junction with Apiary Road.

Turn left here for Vernonia and Camp Wilkerson and go another 6.5 miles before turning left into Camp Wilkerson County Park.

Stop at the fee station to pay the $3 day-use fee and then drive 0.6 miles on a gravel road to a junction at some restrooms.

Go left here towards the horse camp and pull of to the left after 0.2 miles near the sign for the Liahona Loop.
