Hurricane Hill Trailhead

Fees and Regulations

  • $25 7-day pass to enter the national park
  • No pets allowed.
  • Restrooms, picnic tables, interpretive signs.

Driving Directions

Drive I-5 north and take Exit 104 for Highway 101N for Aberdeen and Port Angeles.

After joining Highway 101, go 5.5 miles and keep right for Port Angeles at the junction with Highway 8.

Drive 110.6 miles - up the west shore of the Hood Canal, passing through Sequim and entering Port Angeles.

Bear right on Front Street and go 0.9 miles to the junction with Race Street.

Turn left here, and drive 1.1 miles (Race Street becomes Mt. Angeles Road) and turn right into the Olympic National Park Visitor Center to get your 7-day pass.

Exiting the Visitor Center, turn right and then keep right at the junction with Hurricane Ridge Road.

Wind up 17.0 miles to the Hurricane Ridge Visitor Center.

Continue another 1.9 miles past the Visitor Center to the end of the road at the Hurricane Hill Trailhead.
