Gooseneck Viewpoint

From Oregon Hikers Field Guide

View to the red cliffs from near the viewpoint, Cottonwood Canyon State Park (bobcat)

Description

There's a small cairn and spreading juniper at this expansive viewpoint on the crest of the Gooseneck Ridge. To descend the Gooseneck, continue along the ridge crest and then choose whether to go left or right: the former choice will allow you to hike to the end of the Pinnacles Trail.
