Fourth Salmonberry River Bridge

From Oregon Hikers Field Guide

The Fourth Bridge and Tunnel 30 (Steve Hart)
1925 (Steve Hart)
This flatcar came from some earlier derailment (Steve Hart)

Description

This is the largest bridge in this section of the Canyon and one of the most interesting, as well. It is the only through truss in the area. The construction plaque indicates the year 1925, and thet year decorets the top of the bridge as well. An old flatcar is visible just downstream from the bridge, washed into a logjam there.
