Crystal Lake

From Oregon Hikers Field Guide

Crystal Lake reflecting Mt. Adams (Dean Myerson)

Description

Crystal Lake is a high-elevation lake with sheltered campsites on the western slope of Mount Adams. There are three small tarns below Crystal Lake and several other small lakes higher up the slope in different directions. From the ridge above Crystal Lake, you can get views to Mount Saint Helens and Mount Rainier.

Crystal Lake is not on a designated trail, but it is easily reached by heading up the mountain from the Pacific Crest Trail at Burnt Rock.
