Description
The abandoned farm track that leads down the valley from this junction takes you to a bench below the Criterion crest. Past where the utility line turns south along a grassy promontory, look for the faintest scratch of a jeep road that drops down to a juniper-wooded gully. If you reach another closed gate, you’ve gone too far.
