Cove Creek Crossing on Elk Cove Trail

From Oregon Hikers Field Guide

At the crossing of Cove Creek on Elk Cove Trail (bobcat)

Description

Cove Creek runs through the west side of Elk Cove and then after a brief forest run crosses the Elk Cove Trail at this location. The creek blooms with two species of monkey flower throughout the summer. Snags from the Dollar Lake Burn have fallen across the creek in recent years. Hikers can easily step over the creek using small rocks.
