Barlow Pyramid

From Oregon Hikers Field Guide

View to clouds over Barlow Butte from Barlow Pyramid; Lambert Rock also visible (bobcat)

Description

It’s a short bushwhack, pushing through some low-hanging branches to the scramble up Barlow Pyramid. The views here extend along the spine of the Cascades from Mount Hood to the Three Sisters. South of the Pyramid, the steep meadows on the ridge’s western slope are bright green in the summer, golden in the fall.

If you're leery about picking your way along the abandoned Barlow Butte Trail #670 as it heads south, then this should be your turnaround point.
